Foundation Years (2003–2010)

In 2003, Mr. Tan (Reeve Tan) joined RED VENTURE TRADING in Shenzhen, China, as a sales executive specializing in mobile device accessories. During this critical 7-year formative period:

  • He built a complete sales management system from the ground up

  • Gained first-hand exposure to front-line markets in China

  • Developed sharp commercial instincts and deep industry insight

  • Established an extensive client base and market network

  • This immersive experience in the heart of Asia’s manufacturing hub laid a solid foundation in sales operations and offered Mr. Tan invaluable cross-cultural business experience for future expansion in Malaysia and beyond.

2003-2010

2010-2013

First Entrepreneurial Venture (2010–2013)

In 2010, Mr. Tan co-founded FOUR CELLULAR SDN BHD with a business partner, marking his first foray into entrepreneurship:

  • Focused on mobile communication device distribution

  • Built a complete supply chain from procurement to distribution

  • Established stable sales networks and customer channels

  • In 2013, the partnership concluded due to differences in strategic direction. Although the business spanned only three years, it provided critical experience in operations, leadership, and strategic planning, laying the groundwork for his future solo ventures.

Fintech Breakthrough (2013–2017)

In 2013, leveraging his keen business sense, Mr. Tan independently launched a fintech company:

  • Developed an innovative cross-border digital payment platform

  • Built a comprehensive digital financial services ecosystem

  • Successfully exited the business in 2017 with a valuation of MYR 100million, marking his first major capital breakthrough

  • Simultaneously enrolled in a master’s program in Construction Management, demonstrating a balanced focus on academic and entrepreneurial advancement

  • This pivotal stage not only proved Mr. Tan’s foresight in capturing the fintech wave, but also equipped him with the capital and industry experience needed to build a long-term business platform.

2013-2017

2017-2018

Academic & Agricultural Innovation (2017–2018)

During a critical period of growth, Mr. Tan demonstrated exceptional time management and strategic vision:

  • Enrolled in Wilmington Metropolitan University in 2017

  • Graduated in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Construction Management

  • Founded PILZE PRODUCE SDN BHD in the same year

  • Introduced modern mushroom cultivation technology

  • Established standardized agricultural production systems

  • Built a fully integrated agricultural supply chain

  • The company’s success and sustainability led to its integration into the newly formed RT Groups in 2019, becoming a core pillar of the Group’s agricultural business.

Group Consolidation & Expansion (2019–Present)

In 2019, Mr. Tan founded RT Empire Groups Sdn Bhd as the Group’s holding entity, bringing together a diversified portfolio spanning F&B, real estate, smart technology, automotive, and agriculture.

  • With nearly two decades of hands-on entrepreneurial experience, Mr. Tan has transformed from a groundlevel salesperson into a full-fledged business leader.

  • His continued success is built on a foundation of lifelong learning, sharp market instincts, and an outstanding ability to integrate cross-industry resources.

Mr. Tan (Reeve Tan), born in 1985 in Malaysia, is a visionary business leader with a global outlook. He earned a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Wilmington Metropolitan University in 2018, equipping him with a solid academic foundation for real-world business practice.

Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, English, and Malay, Mr. Tan possesses a unique ability to operate effectively in multicultural and cross-border business environments.
